antiphasis.com
A podcast site built like an argument — typographic, monochrome, sourced.
The home of Antiphasis, a philosophy × AI podcast. A near-black build carried entirely by type: a serif wordmark, and a monospace that renders every episode as a citation — the show's sourcing discipline turned into the design. Public-domain portraits, greyscaled; six static routes.
Challenge
A show whose whole stance is careful, sourced thinking. The site had to look like that discipline — not like a generic podcast template — and reject every design default that would make it feel like one.
Solution
A restrained, reference-led build: one accent used only functionally, the IBM Plex superfamily, and an episode index styled as Stephanus-loci citations. Each episode carries a public-domain portrait of its interlocutor. Statically generated on Vercel, no CMS — it deploys in seconds on every push.
Result
A front door that reads as the show's method at a glance — and a build so lean it goes live the moment a change is merged.
