A campaign site for a Finnish parliamentary candidate. FI/SV throughout, 15+ pages, structured policy platform, news feed, event calendar, GDPR cookie consent. Press-ready, screen-reader-ready, election-night-ready.
Challenge
A campaign site has a hard deadline (the election) and unforgiving readers (journalists, opponents, voters). It has to be fast under load, accurate in two languages, and easy enough for the candidate to update without a developer at midnight.
Solution
PayloadCMS with locale-keyed fields and a content-ingestion pipeline that mirrors the candidate's WordPress archive. Static-export the marketing pages for absolute speed; ISR the news feed for freshness.
Result
Lighthouse 100/100/100/100 on the home page. Multiple journalists noted the bilingual quality. The candidate updates her own news posts.
